Acceptance of Terms
Scope and binding agreement
Key Point: By placing an order, submitting an inquiry, or using any services provided by Jinlu Electromagnets, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Buyer," "Customer," or "you") and Dongguan Jinlu Electromagnet Co., Ltd. ("Jinlu," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China.
These Terms apply to all transactions, communications, and business relationships between Jinlu and its customers, including but not limited to purchases of electromagnets, solenoids, custom-engineered components, and related technical services.
If you are acting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
Products & Services
What we offer and product specifications
Jinlu manufactures and supplies precision electromagnetic components including frame-type solenoids, tubular solenoids, rotary solenoids, custom-wound electromagnets, and related accessories for industrial automation applications.
All product specifications, dimensions, force ratings, and performance data presented in our catalogs, datasheets, or website are provided in good faith and are subject to manufacturing tolerances as stated in individual product documentation.

Jinlu reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update product lines at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for changes affecting existing orders.
Ordering & Payment
Purchase process, pricing, and payment terms
Standard Payment Terms: 30% deposit upon order confirmation; 70% balance prior to shipment. Custom orders may require up to 50% deposit. All amounts are in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All orders must be placed via written purchase order (email or formal PO document) and are subject to Jinlu's written acceptance. An order is only confirmed once Jinlu issues a formal order acknowledgment or pro-forma invoice.
Accepted Payment Methods
- Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) -- preferred method for international orders
- Letter of Credit (L/C) -- for orders exceeding USD 50,000
- PayPal -- available for sample orders up to USD 2,000
- Wire Transfer (ACH/SWIFT) -- accepted for US-based customers
Prices are quoted EXW (Ex Works) Dongguan unless otherwise stated. All applicable taxes, duties, freight, and insurance are the responsibility of the Buyer unless explicitly included in the written quotation.
Late Payment: Overdue balances are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge. Jinlu reserves the right to suspend production or withhold shipment for accounts with outstanding balances.
Shipping & Delivery
Lead times, logistics, and risk of loss
Standard production lead times range from 15 to 45 business days depending on product type, order quantity, and current production schedule. Custom and OEM orders may require longer lead times as agreed upon in writing.
Jinlu ships from our Dongguan facility via international freight forwarders. We can arrange shipping on behalf of the Buyer (CIF/CFR) or ship on the Buyer's designated freight account (EXW/FOB).

Delivery timelines are estimates and Jinlu shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, customs clearance, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Quality & Warranty
Our quality commitment and warranty coverage
Warranty Period: All Jinlu electromagnets carry a 12-month limited warranty from the date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.
Jinlu's products are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management standards. Each batch undergoes rigorous inspection including dimensional verification, electrical resistance testing, insulation resistance checks, and pull-force validation.
Warranty Covers
- Manufacturing defects in coil winding, housing, or electrical connections
- Failure to meet stated performance specifications under specified operating conditions
- Material defects causing premature failure under normal use
Warranty Does Not Cover
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or operation outside specified parameters
- Normal wear and tear, corrosion from exposure to incompatible environments
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs performed by third parties
- Damage in transit after risk has transferred to the Buyer
Returns & Claims
Return policy and defect claim procedures
All returns require prior written authorization (RMA -- Return Merchandise Authorization) from Jinlu. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at the Buyer's expense.
Claims Process
Notify Within 30 Days
Submit a written claim to quality@jinlu-magnets.com within 30 days of receiving goods. Include order number, quantity affected, and description of defect.
Provide Evidence
Attach clear photographs or video of the defective units, packaging condition, and any relevant test results or measurements.
Await RMA Approval
Jinlu will review the claim within 5 business days and issue an RMA number if the return is approved. Do not ship goods before receiving an RMA.
Resolution
Upon receipt and inspection of returned goods, Jinlu will offer repair, replacement, or credit at our discretion, typically within 15-30 business days.
Custom-engineered products are non-returnable unless they fail to meet the agreed written specifications. Cancellation of confirmed custom orders may incur charges up to 30% of the order value to cover materials and engineering costs already incurred.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of designs, drawings, and technical data
All designs, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, technical documentation, trademarks, and trade secrets developed or owned by Jinlu remain the exclusive intellectual property of Dongguan Jinlu Electromagnet Co., Ltd.
Where a Buyer provides proprietary drawings or specifications for custom manufacturing, the Buyer retains ownership of such designs. Jinlu will not reproduce or share Buyer-provided designs with third parties without written consent.
Purchase of Jinlu products does not grant the Buyer any license to Jinlu's patents, trademarks, or manufacturing know-how. The JINLU brand name and logo may not be used in marketing materials without prior written approval.
Confidentiality
Non-disclosure obligations and data handling
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information, pricing data, technical specifications, or business information disclosed during the course of their commercial relationship ("Confidential Information").
Confidential Information shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent, and shall only be used for the purposes of fulfilling the commercial agreement between the parties.
This obligation of confidentiality survives the termination of any individual order or business relationship and remains in effect for a period of five (5) years from the date of last disclosure.
Personal data collected during business transactions is handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. We do not sell or share personal contact information with unaffiliated third parties.
Limitation of Liability
Scope of our liability and exclusions
Important: Jinlu's total cumulative liability for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the total invoice value paid by the Buyer for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jinlu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of production, revenue, or business opportunity
- Damage to the Buyer's equipment, machinery, or end products
- Costs of substitute products, expedited freight, or emergency procurement
- Third-party claims, fines, or penalties arising from the Buyer's use of Jinlu products
It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure that Jinlu products are suitable for their intended application. Jinlu provides technical data and application guidance in good faith, but the final determination of suitability rests with the Buyer's engineering team.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Jurisdiction and dispute handling procedures
These Terms and all transactions between Jinlu and the Buyer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution Process:
- 1. Good-faith negotiation between the parties (30-day period)
- 2. Mediation through a mutually agreed mediator (30-day period)
- 3. Binding arbitration under the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) rules in Guangzhou
For international transactions, the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall apply where not in conflict with these Terms, unless expressly excluded in the purchase agreement.
Amendments & Contact
Changes to these terms and how to reach us
Jinlu reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. For existing orders, the Terms in effect at the time of order confirmation shall apply.
Continued use of Jinlu's services following the posting of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. We encourage customers to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein.
